What would you say if I told you, you could ditch the tradional guest book and replace it with a telephone? And not just any old phone, a fun and stylish retro rotary phone! Yup, that's now possible in Texas thanks to April Burrell, Owner of Voicebook of Texas.

What is Voicebook of Texas? I'm glad you asked! A Texas based retro digital audiobook rental service. I recently had the opportunity to talk with April and see the phones in action. They've been a hit since the launch of the business in August. Audio guestbooks help guests feel included in the celebrations they're attending and guests love being able to leave a personal message for their hosts in a unique and fun way.

How Does The Retro Phone Work?

Plug the phone into it's battery pack or an outlet. Record a greeting for your guests. Your guests hear the message when they pick up the receiver and then they can leave a message. All of the messages are recorded into an .mp4 format

Are The Phones Only Available for Weddings?

Absolutely not! An audio guestbook is a perfect addition at showers, graduations, milestones, and even end of life celebrations.

What About My Virtual Guests?

Great question! Virtual guests can join in on the fun as well. They can record a voice memo on their cell phones and send to Voicebook of Texas to be added to the published recording file

How Do I Get The Recording?

Once the phone has been returned and received, the recording is processed and sent within 2 business days via email or uploaded to a USB and mailed.

What's Included With The Rental?

The phone, battery pack and cable, and a "Leave A Message" acrylic sign. Personalization is available.

If you're looking to ditch the traditional guestbook, an audio guestbook is a great choice. It will be a fun and engaging activity for your guests and It will also be a lasting memory for you and your loved ones long after the event. To learn more about Voicebook of Texas you can visit them here.
